After a long and largely anonymous career in, well, loPixellated Portraitts of things, David finally figured out he was pretty much the same as everybody else. He now spends his time writing comic novels with hidden depths about ordinary people living through interesting times.

He is the author of four novels – Jack Par(r) and Potty-Licks are both available in paperback and kindle editions – and a third – Indignitas – has recently been accepted by the publisher Unbound. The fourth – the curiously titled I can’t be sure who he is, but the man driving him is the Pope – is going through just one more rewrite.

David recently finished an MA in Creative Writing. He is a founding member of We4Poets, a loose affiliation of Manchester writers, poets, musicians and performers; and makes a living as a copywriter, copy editor and proofreader.
